Hi there: I am Ashish. Photography has been my passion for most of my adult life. Over the years, my photography interest evolved from nature and landscape to travel and architecture and finally to portraiture. I offer photo sessions both in my studio and on location to families, couples, and individuals specifically tailored to my clients’ needs. My studio is located in the quaint suburb of Westford, about 25 miles northwest of the great city of Boston. I also offer outdoor portrait sessions in beautiful natural settings in a number of nearby locations. Currently, Canon’s state-of-the-art R5 mirrorless camera body is my main workhorse alongside my trusty Canon 5DMKIV DSLR which I use as my 2nd camera. For outdoor portrait sessions, I primarily use Canon’s venerable 85mm F1.2 RF lens to create extremely shallow-depth-of-field dreamy portraits.

My bio would remain incomplete if I didn’t mention my love for travel. In fact, my interest in photography originated from my travels. Over the years, I traveled to 5 different continents and brought my family along most of the time. Sometimes I would chase the elusive aurora in the far north of Norway and sometimes I would roam around the African Savannah looking for the elusive leopards and yet another time I would get lost in the narrow alleys of Chefchaouen, the fabled blue city in Morocco. Travel rejuvenates me and inspires me to refresh my photographic style from time to time!
